How does tuition agency work with home tutors?

For every new assignment, our coordinator will use our matching system to send SMS/email to home tutor. We will include the rate, level, subjects, location, preferred day and timing according to the parent’s/student’s request. You may reply the SMS immediately if you can take the assignment because It is on first-come, first-served basis. Home tutor will receive further email confirmation if the parent/student has decided to hire him/her. Kindly stick to the timing and other information state in the confirmation SMS/Email unless the parent/student want to make changes

Payment and Fees

  1. For every successful matching, home tutors are charged a one-time referral fee. It is 50% of the first month’s tuition fee.
  2. Student/Parent will pay 50% of the first month’s fee before the lesson start to tuition agency to confirm their slot. If the parent/student pays home tutor cash directly for the first month, the tutor should make the transfer the payment (50% of first month) to our company account which is DBS Current 054-902613-1. Home tutor is responsible to collect the other 50% of the first month’s fee after completing first month lesson.
  3. For subsequent months, all the tuition fees will be paid directly to home tutor from parent/student. Home tutor is responsible for the necessary collection of payment from the parent/student.
  4. Regarding the rate of tutoring, you may refer to  http://www.tuitionagency.com.sg/tuition-fees.php for more details. Please note that the tuition fees are just a general guideline. The tuition fee might be lower or higher due to the qualification and experience of the home tutors.

How to apply to be a home tutor?

Should you be interested to be a home tutor, you are required to fill up home tutor Application Form, a copy of your relevant certificates (O-level, A-level, Diploma, or University), IC copy and recent photo to us for verification. (If you don't have a scanner, you can take photo of your relevant documents and email to us, please make sure that the photographs are clearly visible).

Once we receive you email. our coordinator will give you a call for further confirmation.
